Hi, I’m Lennidies Montanez, founder and creative force behind Candle Nerds.

Candle Nerds began with my love of fragrance, color, and the simple comfort a candle can bring into a space. What started as experimenting with candle-making at home grew into a creative business centered on joy, connection, and memorable experiences.

Today, Candle Nerds offers hand-poured soy-blend candles, carefully selected fragrances, and interactive candle-making workshops for museums, private groups, organizations, and special celebrations. Every candle is thoughtfully made in small batches, with scents and colors designed to make everyday moments feel a little brighter.

Our workshops have become an especially meaningful part of the Candle Nerds story. They give people an opportunity to slow down, create something personal, and enjoy the experience of making a candle from beginning to end. From adult museum workshops to creative youth programs and private gatherings, my goal is to make every guest feel welcomed, inspired, and proud of what they create.

My creativity has also expanded into Evolution Candles, a collection of one-of-a-kind sculptural wax artwork. These pieces explore movement, transformation, color, and emotion and have been featured in gallery exhibitions and recognized with awards. Evolution Candles allows me to push wax beyond the traditional candle and use it as an expressive artistic medium.

None of this journey happens alone. My husband, Luis, has supported me through every stage of building the business, and the photograph on this page represents the love and encouragement behind Candle Nerds.
