Interdependence Evolution Candle

Created in 2026, Interdependence was exhibited at the ArtsUnited Gallery as part of the Elements exhibition and received an Honorable Mention award. The piece visualizes the five natural elements — earth, water, wind, fire, and space — existing together in one form and depending on one another for balance.

Each color and sculptural movement represents a different force, yet none stands fully on its own. The flowing blue forms suggest water and air, the dark structure reflects earth and grounding, the vivid coral-red movement symbolizes fire, and the open negative space throughout the piece represents the unseen element of space.

Together, these forms create a sculpture that feels layered, connected, and alive. Interdependence reflects the idea that strength comes not from standing alone, but from the way separate elements support, shape, and rely on one another.
